How Does Borehole Drilling Work?

Water boreholes can be installed in both rural and urban settings and, quite often, they do not take up as much space as you might think. For example, domestic boreholes will usually fit on a small driveway and they are typically designed to be 50-70m deep and 110-150mm in diameter.

Commercial boreholes are slightly bigger, measuring 250mm to 450mm in diameter; however, they are not quite as deep (100m) and they still require a minimal amount of space. The borehole will also be fitted with a discreet manhole cover, thus making it safe to walk and drive over.

  

What Equipment Is Used For Borehole Drilling?

Dependent on the condition of your ground soil and the depth of water, a number of different drill types can be used in the Borehole Drilling process.
